Sales & Marketing Manager

About the role

The Sales & Marketing Manager leads a combined sales and marketing function, shaping strategy, building a high‑performing team and driving revenue growth. This role reports to senior management and is responsible for aligning sales initiatives with marketing campaigns to meet business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a productive sales organization, establishing policies and procedures for daily operations.
• Recruit, train, and supervise inside sales staff and field sales representatives, monitoring performance against quotas.
• Create incentive programs and ongoing training to boost team effectiveness.
• Collaborate with management to design sales and marketing strategies, set goals, and launch promotions and events.
• Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, backlog analyses, and briefings for leadership.
• Produce product literature, price catalogs, and reference materials for customers.
• Work with the credit department to set up new accounts and manage credit arrangements.
• Coordinate with department heads on advertising contracts, media selection, and campaign planning.
• Conduct market research, analyze trends, and present findings to inform product and pricing decisions.
• Oversee hiring and management of advertising, promotions, and marketing staff or external contractors.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading sales and marketing teams, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret market data and forecast sales performance.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for managing client relationships and advertising contracts.
• Ability to design and implement training programs and incentive structures.
