Merchandiser & Purchaser (Retail Buying)

About the role

We are looking for a Merchandiser and Purchaser to drive product selection and buying for our home‑center stores in Cambodia. The role combines market research, supplier management and compliance to ensure the right products reach our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research and analyze competitors and trends to support product selection.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate terms and manage contracts.
• Ensure purchasing transactions are transparent, compliant with company policies and legal requirements.
• Prepare regular purchasing reports, coordinate with store operations and oversee invoice and account setup.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in retail purchasing, merchandising or related areas, preferably with household goods, electronics or furniture.
• Ability to communicate in English for business purposes.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and responsibility mindset.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
