Relationship Manager – Corporate Banking Lending

About the role

The Relationship Manager will drive sales of the bank’s products and services by acquiring new corporate clients and expanding relationships with existing ones. The role focuses on growing loan portfolios and achieving the sales budget within the Head Office in Phnom Penh.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales budget and grow a profitable book of business through referral networks and market activities.
• Acquire new clients and manage existing relationships to improve profitability, including up‑selling and cross‑selling bank products.
• Analyze credit data and financial information to assess risk for large or complex loans.
• Process loan applications, prepare credit analyses and summaries, and submit them for committee approval.
• Collaborate with branches and other business units to capture referral opportunities.
• Provide superior customer service with tailored solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, banking, accounting or a related field.
• Strong credit evaluation, analytical and financial literacy skills, with ability to interpret audited and management financial statements.
• Good judgment using both qualitative and quantitative tools for complex credit assessments.
• In‑depth knowledge of banking operations, regulations, loan granting and credit risk management.
• Excellent client relationship, communication, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and empower team members.
• Fluent in Khmer and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with bank-specific software for credit analysis and loan processing.
