Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will oversee general accounting functions, manage accounts payable and receivable, and ensure tax compliance within a Cambodian context. This role collaborates across departments to support accurate financial reporting and budgeting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions, month‑end and year‑end closings, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice review, payment coordination, and overdue follow‑up.
• Track inventory and fixed assets, reconcile physical counts with accounting records, and maintain asset registers.
• Prepare and submit monthly tax returns (VAT, WHT) in line with Cambodian regulations.
• Prepare audit documentation, monitor internal controls, and recommend process improvements.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Sales, Admin, and Operations to ensure accurate financial data for budgeting and forecasting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4–6 years of accounting experience covering AP, AR, inventory, taxation, and reconciliations.
• Strong knowledge of Cambodian accounting and tax regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem‑solving, organization, and time‑management skills.
• Fluent in Khmer and English.
