Loan Collection Manager

About the role

The Collection Manager leads both the Phone Collection Team and the On‑Site Collection Team, setting strategy and ensuring professional recovery of overdue loans. This position reports to senior management and works closely with other departments to improve collection processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a combined team of 20+ staff across phone and on‑site collection.
• Develop and implement collection strategies to increase recovery rates and reduce overdue loans.
• Track performance, prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports, and analyse overdue loan data for improvement.
• Prepare monthly collection plans, monitor targets, and approve restructuring or bad‑debt write‑off recommendations.
• Handle customer requests such as early settlement and ensure accurate calculation of late fees and penalties.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve collection issues and maintain compliance with company policy.

Required profile

• Fluent in Khmer with excellent English communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of collections experience, including at least 2 years in a management role.
• Proven ability to manage a collection team of 20+ staff, preferably with both phone and on‑site experience.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem‑solving and team‑management capabilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
