Senior Business Development Executive (Chinese Speaking)

About the role

The Senior Business Development Executive will lead initiatives to generate new partnerships and expand the company’s insurance portfolio. This role requires strong communication, critical thinking, and the ability to execute strategic plans while supporting a sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Own personal and team sales targets and drive performance.
• Identify prospective customers and cross‑sell products to achieve set goals.
• Lead and monitor the team’s approach to new business opportunities.
• Ensure retention of existing clients and follow up on outstanding premiums.
• Support the team in client meetings and maintain confidentiality of all information.
• Conduct product training and sales presentations for staff.
• Provide technical insurance guidance to the team.
• Collaborate with other departments to develop customer solutions.
• Perform site surveys or client meetings as needed.
• Execute any additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• Professional certification (CMII) preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in bancassurance, insurance or banking.
• Proven leadership and business development track record.
• Strong strategic, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent customer service orientation and English proficiency.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• High level of accuracy and deadline adherence.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
