About the role

The Sales Executive will be responsible for achieving monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets within an assigned territory. The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, distributors, wholesalers and other business partners while expanding market coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Meet or exceed sales targets set for the region on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
• Develop and nurture relationships with existing and new customers, distributors and retail outlets.
• Visit customers and markets regularly according to a defined sales route and call plan.
• Identify and acquire new outlets to broaden market reach and product distribution.
• Ensure adequate product stock at retail locations, proper merchandising and compliance with company standards.
• Execute promotional programs, marketing activities and new product launches effectively.
• Process customer orders, coordinate with logistics for timely delivery, and monitor stock levels.
• Track customer payments, manage credit limits and follow up on outstanding debts.
• Collect competitive intelligence on pricing, promotions, new products and distribution channels.
• Maintain accurate customer, order and sales data in the company DMS/CRM system.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, Sales or a related field (preferred).
• 1–2 years of sales experience, preferably in FMCG or distribution.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to manage a sales territory efficiently and follow a sales plan.
• Highly motivated, responsible, honest and results‑oriented.

Required skills

• Experience using DMS/CRM systems for order and customer management.
• Ability to plan and execute sales routes and call plans.
