Business Development Officer – Technical Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Business Development Officer with a technical engineering background to drive new sales opportunities and support our growth initiatives. The role combines prospecting, client engagement, and market analysis to expand our customer base and strengthen relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and qualify new sales leads.
• Schedule meetings and deliver presentations to potential customers.
• Create, plan, and present product demonstrations.
• Maintain a robust pipeline of prospects and nurture ongoing relationships.
• Assist the Business Development Manager with planning, expansion strategies, and business case development.
• Conduct competitor, SWOT, and market research studies.
• Coordinate distribution of marketing collateral.
• Support content creation and manage the company website and social media pages.
• Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Fluent in English; Chinese is a plus.
• Strong organizational abilities and a motivated work ethic.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Good understanding of market research techniques.
• Experience in statistical and data analysis methods.
• Thorough knowledge of social media and web analysis.
