Sales Manager – Automotive

About the role

The Sales Manager will lead an automotive sales team to achieve monthly and annual targets while driving market growth. This role requires a motivated, well‑organized professional with strong relationship‑building skills and a deep understanding of prospecting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the sales team to meet monthly and yearly sales goals.
• Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans for vehicle sales.
• Monitor individual and team performance, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Coach, motivate, and develop sales consultants to improve skills and results.
• Oversee sales activities, customer follow‑up, test drives, bookings, and vehicle deliveries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and corporate clients.
• Analyze market trends, customer needs, competitor activity, and sales performance.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Aftersales, Finance, and other departments to ensure smooth service and delivery.
• Ensure compliance with company sales processes, policies, and standards.
• Prepare regular performance reports and provide recommendations to management.
• Support sales events, roadshows, test‑drive activities, and promotional initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of automotive sales experience, including a leadership role.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
• Strong leadership, coaching, negotiation, and communication abilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a target‑driven environment.
• Willingness to travel and participate in sales events.
