Project Finance Controller (Chinese Speaking)

About the role

A permanent, full-time Project Finance Controller position based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The role covers financial analysis, budgeting, performance monitoring and risk management for accounts and projects, with Chinese speaking required.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly business performance and operational management reports for management review, and carry out periodic financial analysis and forecasting.
• Work with operations to develop action plans for business and performance improvement.
• Prepare the annual budget, set financial targets, design financial metrics and evaluate performance.
• Ensure the integrity, accuracy and timeliness of account reports.
• Liaise with customers, account managers, project managers and the business team on operational issues.
• Recommend suitable business models and highlight risks to management.
• Take part in the annual business plan and yearly budget, design account KPIs and run the "one report and one meeting" to track progress against targets.
• Support the LTC process: presales estimation, review and optimisation of financial terms, and financial solutions for sales projects.
• Improve project management quality and ensure key financial activities (estimation, budget, accounting, project performance analysis) are done correctly.
• Analyse customer financial statements, design trading strategies to control customer risk and help with collections.
• Identify and manage risks such as business authenticity and risk closure to meet compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, postgraduate diploma or professional degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• At least 4 years of experience in account management, project management, credit risk management or related fields.
• Experience in the telecommunication or IT industry preferred.
• Good command of English and Mandarin.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
