Head, Accounting & Finance (Real Estate)

About the role

AGB Consulting is recruiting a Head of Accounting & Finance for a permanent, full-time position based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The role leads and oversees all accounting and finance operations, ensures compliance with Cambodian regulations, provides financial analysis to support business decisions and supervises and develops the accounting and finance team. Working days are Monday to Saturday, morning hours 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all accounting and finance operations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Manage budgeting, cash flow, forecasting and financial planning.
• Review the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and other accounting transactions.
• Ensure accurate and timely tax declarations and payments, and compliance with Cambodian accounting and tax regulations.
• Monitor financial controls, internal policies and accounting procedures.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, tax authorities and other stakeholders.
• Provide financial analysis and advice to management.
• Lead, supervise and develop the accounting and finance team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Strong experience in Borey (real estate or property development).
• 5 to 8 years of accounting and finance experience, including management experience.
• Good command of English.
• High level of integrity, accuracy and responsibility.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Cambodian accounting and tax regulations.
• Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting and cash-flow management.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
