Senior Accountant

About the role

EY is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to perform and coordinate accounting duties within its Core Business Services practice in Cambodia. The role produces accurate and timely financial reports, daily tasks and monthly and yearly tax declarations, combining strong analytical skills with thorough accounting knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare a fixed asset schedule and monthly reconciliation
• Review expense, billing, collection, accounts payable and receivable reports and take the necessary actions
• Prepare for the monthly financial close, including recording of expenses, journal entry review, account balance reconciliations and monthly reporting
• Prepare monthly tax declarations
• Prepare year-end financial statements and internal/external audit reports
• Implement sound internal controls

Required profile

• Cambodian citizen
• At least 4 years of work experience in accounting and finance in a professional or fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or a related field
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Ideal candidates: willingness to work a flexible schedule, handle shifting priorities and multiple projects, show initiative, work under pressure, be highly detail-oriented and collaborate well with others

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel
• High proficiency in SAP is an advantage
