Production Accounting Manager

About the role

Artisans Angkor is seeking a Production Accounting Manager to lead accounting functions across its production operations and inventory locations. The role ensures accurate recording, reconciliation, and reporting of raw materials, work‑in‑progress, finished goods, and cost of goods sold within SAP Business One, supporting month‑end closing and audit readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Own accounting control over the full production and inventory flow from raw material receipt to finished‑goods transfer.
• Ensure all production and inventory transactions are complete, accurate, properly supported, and recorded in the correct period in SAP Business One.
• Review and reconcile raw‑material, WIP, finished‑goods, and other inventory balances across production records, job cards, warehouse records, physical counts, SAP B1, and the general ledger.
• Lead Finance participation in cycle counts and year‑end physical inventory counts, investigate variances and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor aged or unusual WIP, negative stock, unrecorded consumption, damaged or obsolete stock, and other exceptions requiring accounting or operational follow‑up.
• Ensure appropriate month‑end and year‑end cut‑off for production and inventory movements.
• Lead product costing, maintain reliable cost structures for raw materials, direct labor, outsourced work, and production overhead.
• Coordinate periodic standard cost updates and apply approved costing methods consistently.
