Head of Finance

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Head of Finance to lead our accounting function, ensuring accurate reporting, robust controls and compliance across the organization. The role will drive strategic financial initiatives, automate processes and support senior leadership with financial analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Direct accounts receivable, credit control and ageing, and oversee accounts payable to optimise cash flow and minimise bad debt.
• Lead month‑end close, general ledger reconciliations and ensure timely statutory, regulatory and public financial disclosures.
• Manage external audit processes to achieve unqualified audit opinions and implement audit recommendations.
• Provide strategic financial support for budgeting, forecasting, covenant monitoring and ad‑hoc analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; professional certification (ACCA, CPA) preferred.
• Extensive senior‑level experience in finance and accounting within large corporate or audited environments.
• Proven track record of leading AR/AP functions, GL reconciliations and credit control frameworks.

Required skills

• Expertise in ERP and accounting software systems.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, management reporting, tax compliance and internal controls.
