Procurement & Shipment Operator

About the role

The company is looking for a proactive operator to support procurement, supplier management and customs clearance activities for imported goods and services. The role involves close collaboration with internal departments, suppliers and transport agents to ensure timely delivery and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in market research for new sources of goods and services and review specifications, delivery conditions and payment terms.
• Obtain supplier quotations, prepare quote analyses and secure management approval.
• Maintain regular contact with suppliers to monitor order status, resolve defects, damages or returns, and update supplier and price databases.
• Issue quotations, purchase orders or service contracts and keep accurate records in line with retention schedules.
• Coordinate with transport agents and customs authorities to manage shipment schedules and ensure customs clearance is completed on time.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, shipment handling and customs clearance, preferably with knowledge of the power, energy or infrastructure sectors.
• Up‑to‑date understanding of procurement processes, Cambodian customs regulations and tax provisions.
• Strong teamwork orientation, ability to work under strict deadlines and good negotiation and analytical abilities.
