Senior Procurement Officer

About the role

The Senior Procurement Officer will support the sourcing and acquisition of goods and services for the company, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with specifications. This role works closely with internal departments, suppliers, and customs agents to manage the full procurement lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in market exploration for new sources of goods and services and review specifications, delivery conditions, and payment terms.
• Obtain supplier quotes, prepare quote analyses, and secure management approval for purchases.
• Maintain regular contact with suppliers to ensure on‑time delivery and resolve issues such as defects, damages, or returns.
• Update supplier and price databases, and coordinate shipment and customs clearance with transport agents and the Cambodia customs department.
• Issue purchase orders, contracts, and maintain accurate procurement records in line with retention schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in procurement, shipment, and customs clearance, preferably with knowledge of the power, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
• Strong understanding of Cambodian customs, tax provisions, and procurement best practices.
• Excellent teamwork abilities in a multicultural environment and ability to meet strict deadlines.
