Procurement and Shipment Operator

About the role

The company is seeking a dedicated operator to support procurement, shipment and customs clearance activities. You will act as a liaison between internal departments and external suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining accurate records.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in exploring new market sources for goods and services.
• Review specifications, delivery conditions and payment terms for appropriateness.
• Obtain supplier quotes, prepare quote analyses and secure management approval.
• Maintain regular contact with suppliers to guarantee on‑time delivery and service fulfillment.
• Update and manage supplier, price and contact databases.
• Handle issues such as defective goods, damages or returns.
• Issue quotations, purchase orders or contracts for departmental approval.
• Coordinate with transport agents and customs to manage shipments and ensure timely clearance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing or a related field.
• 3–5 years experience in procurement, shipment and customs clearance, preferably with Cambodian customs and transport agents.
• Knowledge of procurement processes within the power, energy or infrastructure sectors is an asset.
• Up‑to‑date understanding of Cambodian customs, tax provisions and technical procurement requirements.
• Strong teamwork abilities in a multicultural environment and ability to meet strict deadlines.
