Process Engineer – Industrial Sewing

About the role

We are looking for a Process Engineer specialized in industrial sewing to develop and optimise manufacturing methods that meet design, quality and customer requirements. The role involves selecting appropriate technologies, tools and machinery to ensure efficient production of compliant products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and document detailed manufacturing procedures, process flows and operation instructions based on product design and material composition.
• Select and assign suitable methods, tools and machinery for each production step.
• Plan material and process flow within the manufacturing line and support capacity, layout and equipment planning.
• Assist management with cost calculations for new product inquiries and develop samples and prototypes.
• Create and maintain documentation such as initial sample reports for customers.
• Lead and support the “new product development” work circle and supervise subordinate staff.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by general management.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Science or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in bag or garment manufacturing or a comparable industrial sewing environment.
• Strong organisational and management abilities with proven problem‑solving skills.
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems such as ISO 9001:2015 or IATF 16949:2016.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interaction at all levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic database use.
• Flexibility, willingness to face new challenges and a commitment to continuous learning.
