Plating Manager – Urgent Hiring (up to $4k)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Plating Manager to lead our plating operations and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This urgent opening offers a competitive compensation package up to $4,000.

Key responsibilities

• Drive plating performance across all production areas, meeting cost, schedule, and quality targets.
• Establish the plating function in collaboration with production and program leads.
• Implement continuous‑improvement initiatives to reduce costs, improve quality and boost productivity.
• Maintain accurate manufacturing processes, parameters, and procedures.
• Resolve technical issues promptly and support system reliability.
• Identify root causes of plating problems, conduct investigations, and apply corrective actions.
• Control metallization/dementalization processes and analyze plating scrap.
• Ensure orders meet process specifications and quality standards.
• Manage labor, overhead, and raw‑material costs for optimal efficiency.
• Oversee OHSE compliance, safety reporting, and regulatory adherence.
• Administer production budget, expense controls, and staff management including training and scheduling.
• Coordinate with development and sample teams for smooth product transfer to mass production.
• Support quality‑control programs and resolve quality‑related issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in plating engineering; jewelry industry experience is a plus.
• Strong command of English.
• Proven leadership, interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Experience in process management, production planning and control.
• Knowledge of Lean management principles.
