Senior Commercial & SME Loan Support Officer

About the role

The Senior Commercial & SME Loan Support Officer works closely with branch networks to implement the SME sales strategy, ensure loan quality, and drive loan growth across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with branches to share SME sales strategy and achieve annual lending targets.
• Monitor productivity and performance of SME/commercial loans across all regions.
• Follow up on credit reviews, loan extensions, and ensure timely submissions.
• Conduct branch visits to support loan assessments and marketing activities.
• Maintain high loan quality and report performance to management.
• Build relationships with SME business associations for referrals.
• Coordinate with credit analysis to accelerate loan approvals.
• Guide branches to improve loan pipelines and achieve growth targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Economics or related field.
• 3‑5 years of lending experience focused on SME/commercial segments.
• Experience in a regulated financial institution with direct lending management.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent English communication skills and high professionalism.
• Willingness to travel frequently to branch offices.
