About the role
At Avani, the Laundry Attendant ensures guest laundry and linen are handled safely, efficiently, and with respect for privacy. The role supports accurate billing and teamwork while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and chemical safety.
Key responsibilities
- Handle laundry safely and efficiently, including sorting, washing, checking, and delivering guest laundry and linen.
- Operate laundry machines correctly and store chemicals safely.
- Sort laundry and linen by type, colour, and washing requirements.
- Collect, process, check, and deliver guest laundry promptly while respecting “Do Not Disturb” signs.
- Provide billing details to the Cashiering Department on time.
- Assist colleagues and perform other duties as assigned.
