About the role
The Assistant Manager - Stewarding assists the Stewarding Manager in running the Stewarding Department as an efficient, productive cost centre. The role supports Hyatt International's corporate strategies and brand standards while meeting employee, guest and owner expectations.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain an organised and clean back-of-house area in Food and Beverage
- Provide all kitchens, outlets and banquets with clean operating equipment, based on expected business levels
- Assist the Stewarding Manager in keeping the department efficient and productive
Required profile
- Ideally a relevant degree, apprenticeship or diploma in Hospitality or restaurant management
- Minimum 2 years of work experience as Assistant Manager in F&B service, kitchen or stewarding, or as Team Leader in a hotel or large restaurant with good standards
