Sales Manager - Courtyard by Marriott Siem Reap

About the role

Courtyard by Marriott Siem Reap Resort, a 200-room property near the city's ancient sites, is looking for a Sales Manager. The role is accountable for proactively seeking and handling sales opportunities, ensuring business is turned over properly and in time for good service delivery, and helping lead day-to-day sales activities focused on long-term, value-based customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Work with off-property sales channels so that sales efforts are coordinated and not duplicative.
• Build relationships with existing and new customers through sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips and trade shows, and develop relationships within the community.
• Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and give accurate turnover to Event Management.
• Take part in sales calls with the sales team to acquire new business and close deals, and handle proposals, contracts and customer correspondence.
• Identify new business to meet personal and location revenue goals, understand the market and competitors, and close the best opportunities.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, support the company's service and relationship strategy, and gather guest feedback on product quality and service levels.

Required profile

• A 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management or a related major, with 3 years of sales and marketing experience.
• Or a 4-year bachelor's degree in a similar field, with 1 year of sales and marketing experience.
