IT Support Senior Associate

About the role

EY is hiring an IT Support Senior Associate in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The role covers daily routine technical support, with the professional consulting the supervisor on task prioritization and specializing in one or more areas such as support centre/technology support, networking, telecommunications, help desk and work with multiple software and hardware technologies in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with deploying hardware and software to end users, including installing, configuring and testing complex firm hardware.
• Help provision and deprovision hardware and software for new hires and receive hardware from departing employees.
• Coordinate repairs of end-user hardware and software reinstallation to resolve incidents, and identify sources and trends of technical problems.
• Provide after-hours service for escalated issues from the Service Desk or supervisor, with minimal supervision.
• Perform asset management activities (procurement, receipt, inventory, tracking, distribution) in line with firm policy and IT service processes.
• Support off-site functions and meetings, and assist with office moves, buildouts and relocations.
• Act as "remote hands" for other IT functions such as telecommunications and hosting.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of IT services and the firm's business to anticipate and resolve end-user technology issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Fluent English, spoken and written.
• Approximately 2-4 years of experience in end-user technology support.
• Cambodian citizenship.
• Excellent customer service attitude and ability to liaise with end users and IT personnel at all levels.

Required skills

• Ability to work under pressure and communicate effectively with supervisors and peers.
• Ideally: good logic, strong sense of responsibility, proactive, organized, detail-oriented, with strong communication, organizational and time-management skills.
