Finance Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead financial planning, reporting, and control for construction and real‑estate projects. You will work closely with project teams to align financial objectives with operational execution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts and budgets for construction projects.
• Oversee the accounting team to ensure accurate, timely recording of transactions.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements for the company and individual projects.
• Produce monthly financial reports, including cash‑flow projections, income statements and balance sheets.
• Monitor project Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and Bill of Materials (BOM) costing to control costs.
• Identify cost variances, recommend corrective actions and update budgets.
• Manage cash flow to guarantee liquidity for project financing and operations.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, CIFRS, local real‑estate laws and ACAR requirements.
• Implement and maintain ERP‑based financial systems tailored to construction and real‑estate operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field; CPA/ACCA preferred.
• 5‑10 years of finance experience, including 2‑3 years as an Accounting Manager or Finance Manager in construction or real‑estate.
• Strong knowledge of project financing and construction accounting.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with Cuscen financial software.
• Implementation and use of ERP systems for construction/real‑estate.
