About the role
The Customer Service Supervisor will lead a team within the Import/Export logistics unit, ensuring efficient operations and high‑quality service delivery. This role involves supervising daily activities, managing performance, and driving revenue growth across freight and value‑added services.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and coach the team to operate efficiently and meet SOP timeframes.
- Review job performance and budgets regularly to maintain quality services.
- Maintain KPI standards (SI/CY cut‑off, ETD/ETA, invoicing, etc.) and formalize processes.
- Monitor overtime and resource utilization.
- Drive upselling of ocean/air freight, clearance, trucking, warehousing, and other services.
- Resolve issues for customers, vendors, carriers, and internal teams.
- Maintain relationships with key vendors and develop new business opportunities.
- Lead problem‑solving with shippers, carriers, HQ, and customers.
- Monitor accounts receivable/payable and ensure timely settlements.
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports and perform other tasks as assigned.
