Business Development Manager – Creative Agency

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive new revenue streams for a fast‑growing creative agency in Cambodia. Working closely with the Managing Director and cross‑functional teams, you will identify brand opportunities, craft integrated solutions and turn prospects into long‑term partners.

Key responsibilities

• Research, target and approach potential clients across advertising, media and production sectors.
• Generate qualified leads through networks, referrals, industry events and outreach activities.
• Conduct discovery meetings to understand client marketing goals, challenges and budgets.
• Collaborate with Creative, Strategy, Client Service and Production teams to design tailored proposals for campaigns, TVCs, digital content, social media, KOL marketing and events.
• Maintain a robust pipeline of short‑term projects, retainer agreements and strategic partnerships.
• Prepare and deliver pitches, negotiate terms and close deals.
• Monitor market trends, procurement opportunities, tenders and brand activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development or sales within an advertising, creative, media or production environment.
• Strong understanding of how brands plan and execute integrated marketing communications.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with senior client stakeholders.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage a sales pipeline and meet revenue targets.
