Associate/Supervisor, IT Governance & Compliance

About the role

The Associate/Supervisor, IT Governance & Compliance will support and supervise the implementation of IT governance frameworks, policies and procedures for a leading organization in Phnom Penh. This full‑time, on‑site position works closely with IT, risk and business teams to ensure regulatory alignment, secure operations and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce IT controls, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate internal and external IT audits, track remediation actions and report findings to management.
• Maintain governance documentation, SOPs, policies and compliance records.
• Manage the user access lifecycle, including provisioning, modifications, de‑activations and periodic access reviews, applying least‑privilege and segregation of duties principles.
• Support IT risk assessments, control reviews and governance reporting.
• Promote security awareness and recommend process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in IT governance, security, compliance, access management or IT audit.
• Strong analytical, documentation and communication abilities with high attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Required skills

• Knowledge of COBIT framework.
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 27001 standards.
• Understanding of ITIL processes.
• Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) and access‑rights administration.
• Proficiency in IT controls and audit procedures.
