Assistant to Maintenance Manager

About the role

The Assistant to the Maintenance Manager supports the procurement and logistics functions that keep the maintenance department running smoothly. You will work closely with suppliers, internal teams, and customs agents to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in market research for new sources of goods and services.
• Review specifications, delivery terms, and payment conditions.
• Obtain supplier quotes, prepare quote analyses, and secure management approval.
• Maintain regular contact with suppliers to track deliveries and service performance.
• Update and manage supplier and price databases.
• Handle issues such as defective goods, damages, and returns.
• Issue purchase orders, contracts, and quotations for departmental approval.
• Coordinate with transport agents and customs to manage shipments and clearance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, shipment, and customs clearance, preferably with Cambodian customs and transport agents.
• Familiarity with procurement processes in the power, energy, or infrastructure sectors is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of Cambodian customs and tax regulations.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a multicultural team.
