Senior Procurement Officer

About the role

The Senior Procurement Officer will support the sourcing of goods and services, manage supplier relationships, and ensure timely delivery in line with company requirements. This role works closely with internal departments, transport agents, and customs authorities to maintain smooth procurement operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in market exploration for new sources of goods and services.
• Review specifications, delivery conditions, and payment terms to ensure suitability.
• Obtain supplier quotes, prepare quote analyses, and secure management approval.
• Maintain regular contact with suppliers to guarantee on‑time delivery and service fulfillment.
• Update and maintain supplier and price databases, providing regular updates.
• Resolve issues such as defective goods, damages, or returns.
• Coordinate with transport agents and customs to manage shipments and ensure timely clearance.
• Issue quotations, purchase orders, and contracts for departmental approval and maintain accurate records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, shipment management, and customs clearance, preferably with Cambodia customs.
• Knowledge of procurement processes within the power, energy, or infrastructure sectors is an asset.
• Up‑to‑date understanding of Cambodian customs and tax regulations.
• Strong teamwork abilities in a multicultural environment and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Negotiation and analytical skills, with English proficiency in both written and spoken communication.
