Veneer Factory Manager (Chinese Speaking)

About the role

The Veneer Factory Manager leads all operations of a veneer production facility, ensuring safe, stable, and efficient output. The role requires strong production planning, team leadership, and continuous improvement to meet business targets.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee full factory operations, including production planning, workforce supervision, equipment maintenance, quality control, safety compliance, and cost efficiency.
• Coordinate raw material supply with procurement to guarantee uninterrupted production.
• Develop and refine workflows, standard operating procedures, and operational systems.
• Manage preventive maintenance programs to minimise equipment downtime.
• Ensure product quality meets company and customer standards.
• Drive waste reduction and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and company regulations.
• Train and develop workers and supervisors to enhance performance.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in factory operations or production management.
• Background in the manufacturing industry, preferably in veneer or related sectors.
• Experience with factory setup or expansion is a strong advantage.
• Ability to work in a Chinese‑managed environment.
