Quality Supervisor – Manufacturing & QA

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Supervisor to join Away’s Quality team in Phnom Penh. Reporting to the Quality Director of Asia, you will help execute the company’s QA/QC vision across supplier factories, ensuring product quality and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of incoming materials, semi‑finished goods and finished goods at supplier factories.
• Assist factory QC staff in material inspection, testing protocols and reporting of defects.
• Execute final quality control sampling based on AQL standards and prevent shipment of non‑conforming products.
• Record inspection data, summarize non‑conformities and support corrective‑action plans with suppliers.
• Lead QC procedure development, documentation and on‑site assessments across multiple factory locations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in the handbags, backpacks or luggage industry.
• Proven ability to solve problems with factory partners and internal teams.
• Basic English proficiency (written and verbal).
• Detail‑oriented, well‑organized and self‑motivated.
• Willingness to travel throughout Asia and to factories near Phnom Penh.
