Treasury Manager (Asset & Liability Management)

About the role

Amret is seeking a Treasury Manager to lead its Asset & Liability Management (ALM) function. The role ensures optimal liquidity, compliance with National Bank of Cambodia (NBC) regulations, and provides high‑quality insights to the ALCO and senior management for strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and report daily liquidity positions, liquid assets, and NBC prudential ratios.
• Develop and execute investment plans within approved credit limits.
• Prepare cash‑flow projections to maintain adequate liquidity buffers for operational and strategic needs.
• Measure ALM risks, including liquidity mismatches, deposit concentration, repricing gaps, and interest‑rate sensitivity.
• Analyse deposit volatility by product, currency, and concentration, initiating pre‑emptive funding or retention actions.
• Maintain covenant compliance tools, classify ratios, and manage mitigation or waiver processes.
• Lead weekly and monthly ALCO preparation, including liquidity ladders, funding profiles, stress‑test outputs, and market intelligence.
• Deliver rolling liquidity and funding forecasts aligned with business growth plans while preserving covenant headroom.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Banking & Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Treasury, Fund Management, ALM or Liquidity Risk within a commercial bank.
• Hands‑on experience with NBC prudential reporting, fund sourcing, lender relations and covenant compliance.
• Strong knowledge of NBC prudential ratios, liquidity and ALM principles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in both Khmer and English.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and data analysis.
• Familiarity with T24 core banking system.
• Basic SQL querying.
