Risk Management Expert (Remote Contractor)

About the role

We are seeking a Risk Management Subject Matter Expert to work remotely on an hourly contractor basis. You will evaluate AI‑generated risk management responses, create high‑quality risk content, and provide detailed feedback to improve model performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI training content by creating detailed prompts and gold‑standard outputs across risk topics such as assessments, control mappings, mitigation plans, and communications.
• Evaluate and rank AI responses to enhance correctness, rigor, clarity, and practical usefulness.
• Test AI outputs for inaccuracies, unsafe recommendations, misleading certainty, and bias, ensuring reliability across scenarios.
• Provide precise written feedback, fact‑check risk concepts, and write model solutions that demonstrate correct approaches.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Business, Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Law, IT, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in risk management (e.g., ERM, operational risk, compliance, internal audit, security risk, third‑party risk).
• Strong command of risk fundamentals, taxonomy, scoring, control design, KRIs/KPIs, and familiarity with frameworks such as COSO ERM, ISO 31000, NIST, SOC 2/ISO 27001, SOX.
• Experience with governance processes including risk registers, policy development, risk committees, and executive reporting.
• Excellent written English (minimum C1) and ability to translate complex risk topics into clear, decision‑ready summaries.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CRISC, CISA, CIA, ISO 27001 LI/LA, PMP, FRM) are a plus.
