Tax Specialist

About the role

Join Kuehne+Nagel's Finance team as a Tax Specialist and use your tax expertise to support operational excellence. You will ensure tax compliance, provide advisory support, and help streamline financial processes while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the local tax invoicing module, generate e‑invoices and reconcile monthly with the ACON accounting system.
• Develop and drive tax automation projects in partnership with the corporate financial information systems team.
• Track changes in tax legislation, analyse risks and communicate impacts to the team and management.
• Support local tax computation, declaration and filing, including submission of required information.
• Ensure compliance with corporate tax reporting and local statutory requirements.
• Update and follow up on unmatched GST input tax credits, resolving related queries.
• Assist with tax audits and investigations.
• Provide day‑to‑day tax advice and respond promptly to stakeholder queries.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in tax and reporting, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of Cambodia tax regulations.
• Ability to work independently, lead projects and audits, and take full ownership of responsibilities.
• Excellent English communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Well‑connected with tax authorities and able to maintain good relationships.
• Proactive, accountable, flexible and results‑driven mindset.
