Credit Relations Manager – Mortgage Loans

About the role

The Credit Relations Manager will lead and support the mortgage loan team across the head office and branches, driving the achievement of lending targets. The role involves planning, performance monitoring, building and maintaining client relationships, and providing value‑added commentary in Credit Appraisal Reports to ensure sound underwriting and a high‑quality loan portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new mortgage loan products, policies and pricing strategies in collaboration with senior management to meet market demand.
• Design work plans, assign tasks, and continuously track performance, providing coaching and feedback to maintain a high‑performing team.
• Implement sales strategies, conduct market research, and identify new opportunities to grow the mortgage loan portfolio.
• Conduct site visits and collateral assessments to evaluate borrower creditworthiness and ensure adequate security.
• Prepare pre‑deal documentation, monitor loan performance, and implement risk‑mitigation strategies in line with regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical training and mentorship to the team, fostering collaboration with credit committees and cross‑selling other banking products.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in business banking or medium‑to‑large business lending, including managerial or leadership responsibilities.
• Strong credit evaluation and financial analysis skills, with deep knowledge of mortgage lending in the Cambodian context.
• Excellent client relationship management, negotiation, and communication abilities in both Khmer and English.
• Demonstrated leadership, team motivation, and professional presentation skills.
