Small Business Loan Supervisor

About the role

The Small Business Loan Supervisor will oversee a team responsible for processing and managing small business loan applications, ensuring compliance with bank policies and delivering high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Directly supervise all small business loan personnel to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Design work schedules, assign duties, coach staff and conduct performance reviews.
• Promote the bank’s small business loan products and conduct customer orientations.
• Conduct site visits to verify collateral and ensure proper loan granting.
• Review loan applications thoroughly to prevent fraud and manage defaults.
• Collaborate with the loan recovery team to achieve successful recoveries.
• Prepare regular disbursement reports and monitor accounts to maintain positive cash flow.
• Ensure clear communication of payment terms and conditions to clients.
• Provide constructive feedback to improve operational policies and handle complex customer issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, banking, accounting or a related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in banking or financial services with a strong loan‑granting track record.
• Excellent knowledge of branch operations, banking regulations, credit risk management and loan policies.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both Khmer and English.
• Strong sales, customer service, math and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office.
• Experience with the bank’s loan processing software.
