School Nurse (Local)

About the role

The School Nurse reports to the HSE Supervisor and is responsible for promoting health and safety within the school environment. The role involves providing basic healthcare, managing medical records, and educating students and staff on healthy habits.

Key responsibilities

• Administer medication and provide first aid for injuries or acute illnesses.
• Monitor and update student immunization records and medical histories.
• Develop health plans for students with chronic conditions.
• Educate students and staff on nutrition, hygiene, and healthy lifestyles.
• Maintain a safe and hygienic school environment, including equipment sanitation and supply management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• 1‑3 years of nursing experience, preferably in emergency or intensive care.
• Ability to communicate in English; Chinese is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly professional attitude.

Required skills

• Medication administration and basic first‑aid techniques.
• Record‑keeping of vital signs, medical charts, and immunization data.
• Use of basic computer applications for documentation.
