Relationship Manager – Commercial Banking

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Manager, Account Relationship to lead the acquisition and management of commercial banking clients. The role focuses on growing loan, deposit and fee income while delivering tailored financial solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire new commercial loan and deposit accounts and expand fee income.
• Manage an existing portfolio of commercial banking relationships, providing value‑added advice and customized solutions.
• Prepare and submit credit applications for new accounts and oversee renewal of existing facilities.
• Monitor asset quality, stay informed on market and industry trends, and ensure compliance with credit policies.
• Collaborate with product partners such as Trade Services, Markets, and Deposit & Liability Management to meet client needs.
• Drive utilization of existing facilities, cross‑sell additional products, and achieve revenue targets.
• Prepare regular management reports and provide guidance to junior staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in banking, preferably in trade finance, foreign exchange or lending.
• Strong understanding of commercial credit, asset quality management and financial accounting.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities in English.
