Senior Accountant – Audit Background

About the role

BevFood Trading (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. is seeking a Senior Accountant with an audit background to join its finance team in Cambodia. The role is full‑time and on‑site, focusing on accurate bookkeeping, financial reporting and audit support for a fast‑growing consumer‑goods distributor.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger, record journal entries and perform account reconciliations on a daily basis.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable standards.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Support internal and external audits, reviewing documentation and addressing audit queries.
• Assess and improve internal controls, ensuring compliance with Cambodian regulations and international accounting standards.
• Analyse financial data to produce management reports and insights.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on budgeting, forecasting and financial workflow optimisation.

Required profile

• Strong accounting and financial reporting experience, including general ledger management and month‑end close.
• Audit experience with solid understanding of internal controls, compliance and risk assessment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA, ACCA or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of Cambodian tax and regulatory requirements or willingness to learn.
• High integrity, attention to detail and ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
