About the role
The Tax Audit Officer will support and conduct tax audits to ensure compliance with Cambodian tax laws, review financial records, and prepare detailed audit reports. The role also involves communicating findings to clients and providing guidance on tax compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Support and conduct tax audits to verify compliance with tax regulations.
- Review financial records, reports, and documentation to assess tax liabilities.
- Prepare audit reports detailing findings and recommendations.
- Communicate audit results with clients and maintain good client relationships.
- Provide guidance on tax compliance and stay updated on the latest tax laws.
- Collaborate with other teams to support overall tax compliance efforts.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Senior Tax Auditor.
Required profile
- Bachelor degree in tax, accounting or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in tax management and accounting.
Required skills
- Knowledge of IFRS for SMEs.
- Familiarity with Cambodian tax regulations.
- Understanding of accounting policies and internal control.
