Regional Manager

About the role

The Regional Manager will oversee the implementation of operational policies across multiple branch offices, ensuring that credit and other banking activities align with the institution’s standards. This senior position provides leadership, drives performance, and supports the Chief Operational Officer in strategic planning.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the COO in preparing the business plan and operational action plan.
• Conduct field visits to monitor branch performance and provide improvement guidance.
• Facilitate information flow between the COO, branches, and other departments.
• Set performance targets and develop branch‑by‑branch strategies for client acquisition.
• Oversee new branch openings, ensuring market viability and profitability within 12 months.
• Implement internal control systems and safeguard institutional assets.
• Respond to audit findings, monitor risk and quality assurance actions, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Ensure consistent application of policies and procedures across all branches.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, Management or related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in banking, micro‑finance or financial institutions, with strong branch operations background.
• Proven expertise in branch management, credit operations and operational risk management.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Khmer.
