Accounts Assistant

About the role

The Accounts Assistant will support the finance team in daily transaction processing, cash handling, and financial reporting. This position ensures accurate recording of income, expense claims, and asset management while providing timely assistance to internal departments.

Key responsibilities

• Process income transactions (cash, online payments, KHQR, credit cards, cheques).
• Perform daily closing activities, verify income against receipts, and generate variance‑free reports.
• Prepare deposit and receipt reports, and post daily general journal entries.
• Manage textbook sales, inventory verification, and petty‑cash operations.
• Handle expense claim transactions and support supplier invoice processing.
• Maintain fixed‑asset register, track asset movements, and ensure proper documentation.
• Verify timesheets and prepare payroll sheets for managerial review.
• Provide administrative support to clients and staff across departments.
• Undertake additional tasks as assigned by managers.

Required profile

• University degree in a related field (accounting or finance preferred).
• Prior accounting or bookkeeping experience is advantageous.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and multitask.
• Enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional development.
