Overseas Branch Manager – Siem Reap

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Overseas Branch Manager to lead our Siem Reap sub‑branch in Cambodia. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining compliance with both bank policies and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute branch business strategies aligned with the bank’s objectives.
• Oversee deposit services, cash handling, foreign exchange counters, and transaction processing.
• Supervise lending activities, evaluate credit applications, and monitor portfolio performance.
• Manage daily cash operations, liquidity, and foreign exchange rate risk.
• Administer international trade finance, including import/export transactions and bank guarantees.
• Coordinate accounting functions, regulatory capital calculations, and tax compliance.
• Build and maintain client relationships while identifying new business opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, risk management policies, and local regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate lending, syndicated or international loans, and debt restructuring.
• Deep knowledge of banking products, overseas branch operations, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Proven track record in business development and risk management.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of credit analysis and financial risk assessment.
• Experience with foreign exchange and international trade finance operations.
• Ability to manage liquidity, investment of financial instruments, and regulatory reporting.
