Purchase Officer

About the role

The Purchase Officer will manage the end‑to‑end purchasing process for both local and overseas suppliers. This role ensures that all procurement activities align with the company’s cost, quality, and delivery standards while maintaining accurate purchasing records.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare purchase orders and distribute copies to suppliers.
• Maintain and review purchasing files and report price lists to the procurement manager.
• Ensure selections meet competitive pricing and high‑quality standards.
• Build and sustain relationships with suppliers, obtaining quotations as needed.
• Handle purchasing for Bill‑Of‑Material (BOM) and non‑BOM items.
• Coordinate with regional suppliers on raw material planning, allocation, pricing, and quality.
• Monitor supplier performance to meet delivery timelines and quality expectations.
• Execute any additional tasks assigned by the procurement manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of purchasing experience.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Honest, hardworking, and highly responsible.
• Good command of English; Chinese is a plus.
