Electrical Maintenance Technician (ITI Electrician)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician with hands‑on experience in industrial electrical maintenance. The role involves maintaining LT motors, starters, VFDs, soft starters, cable termination and performing preventive maintenance in a steel/manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of LT motors up to 150 kW.
• Handle DOL starters, VFDs, and soft starters.
• Carry out cable termination, lugging, and glanding work.
• Maintain heaters, submersible pumps, and LT motors.
• Conduct basic electrical troubleshooting and fault identification.
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Ensure equipment is maintained safely and efficiently following electrical safety procedures.

Required profile

• ITI – Electrician certification is mandatory.
• 2–6 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience, preferably in steel, manufacturing, plant or heavy‑industry.
• Ability to work in an industrial/plant environment and follow safety procedures.

Required skills

• LT motor maintenance (up to 150 kW).
• DOL starter, VFD and soft starter operation.
• Cable termination, lugging and glanding.
• Maintenance of heaters and submersible pumps.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
