Electrical Maintenance Technician (ITI Electrician)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician for a steel manufacturing environment. The role focuses on industrial electrical maintenance of low‑tension (LT) motors, starters, VFDs, soft starters, and cable systems. Candidates must be ITI‑certified electricians with 2–6 years of relevant experience.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot LT motors up to 150 kW.
• Handle DOL starters, VFDs, and soft starters.
• Perform cable termination, lugging, and glanding work.
• Service heaters, submersible pumps, and related equipment.
• Identify faults and conduct basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Execute preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical assets safely.

Required profile

• ITI – Electrician certification is mandatory.
• 2–6 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
• Prior experience in steel, manufacturing, plant, or heavy‑industry settings is preferred.

Required skills

• LT motor maintenance up to 150 kW.
• DOL starter, VFD, and soft starter operation.
• Cable termination, lugging, and glanding.
• Maintenance of heaters and submersible pumps.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to work safely in an industrial plant environment.
