Project Team Leader – Community Surveillance & Maternal & Child Health

About the role

World Vision is seeking a Project Team Leader to guide the implementation of a Community‑Based Surveillance and Maternal & Child Health Services project in the border provinces of Banteay Meanchey and Preah Vihear, Cambodia. The role will oversee the project from planning through delivery, ensuring alignment with World Vision’s mission, donor requirements and national health standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the project in accordance with the approved work plan and budget.
• Coordinate grant management activities, including budgeting, risk mitigation, reporting and compliance with donor guidelines.
• Engage and collaborate with provincial health departments, district hospitals, midwives, NGOs and other stakeholders to strengthen community‑based surveillance and health services.
• Facilitate regular technical working group meetings, provide feedback, and adjust project activities as needed.
• Document lessons learned, best practices and ensure high‑quality donor reports (monthly, quarterly and final).

Required profile

• Proven experience managing health‑related development projects in low‑resource settings.
• Strong understanding of maternal and child health (MCH) and global health security (GHS) standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage a multidisciplinary team and meet tight deadlines.
