Procurement Specialist (Trade)

About the role

Dynamic Advanced Group is hiring a Procurement Specialist (Trade) to support the sourcing of trade goods for business units. The role involves collecting quotations, comparing costs, supporting supplier evaluation and helping select and onboard overseas vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Collect quotations from at least two or three overseas or local suppliers for trade goods requested by the business unit.
• Prepare cost comparison sheets.
• Support the Senior Procurement Specialist (Trade) in evaluating supplier proposals, samples and quality specifications.
• Assist in shortlisting and recommending the selected supplier.
• Help review trade contract and quotation terms.
• Maintain organized records of quotations, comparisons and contracts for audit purposes.
• Support overseas vendor onboarding by collecting supplier documents and certifications, and maintain the approved overseas vendor file.
• Liaise with the business unit to confirm purchase requirements and specifications before sourcing.
• Hand over the selected supplier, contract and trade terms to Business and Supply Chain, who manages PR/PO, payment, shipment and customer clearance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, procurement or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing or trade administration.
• Prior exposure to overseas supplier sourcing is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Khmer.
• Ability to work under time pressure and manage multiple sourcing requests, including across time zones; occasional contact with overseas suppliers outside normal hours.

Required skills

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, able to prepare clear comparison sheets.
• Basic understanding of trade quotation terms.
• Negotiation and cross-cultural communication skills.
• Attention to detail, accuracy and strong record-keeping.
