Pricing Logistic Specialist – Freight Forwarding

About the role

The Pricing Logistic Specialist supports the freight forwarding business by analysing market rates, maintaining price data and assisting sales in preparing quotations. The role works closely with the shipping department and external carriers to ensure competitive and up‑to‑date pricing.

Key responsibilities

• Review orders and booking space, coordinating with the shipping department to meet business needs.
• Conduct regular freight‑rate analysis, gather quotations, maintain and update shipping line rates.
• Develop and expand relationships with high‑quality carriers and route resources.
• Assist sales teams in preparing customer quotations and leveraging market insights.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams, perform regular accounting checks with suppliers.
• Resolve issues arising during cargo boarding and transportation, providing timely solutions.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in transportation, logistics or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in an international freight forwarding environment, preferably in a shipping department.
• Strong market insight, high sense of responsibility and good communication and writing abilities.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); Mandarin is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• General competence with MS Office suite.
